Teller Jobs in California
A Teller serves as the front line of customer service in the banking industry, directly interacting with clients and performing a wide range of tasks. Tellers are often the first point of contact for customers, so they play an essential role in building customer relationships and maintaining the bank's overall reputation. Important skills for a Teller include strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. They should also be proficient in basic computer applications and banking software. In terms of certifications, while not mandatory, obtaining a Certified Bank Teller (CBT) certification from the American Bankers Association can enhance job prospects.
