Electronic Banking Specialist Jobs in California
An Electronic Banking Specialist is responsible for providing support, maintenance and troubleshooting services for electronic banking systems. They facilitate online banking and electronic transactions, ensuring secure and efficient banking operations. They handle the setup and maintenance of online banking profiles, process electronic payments and transfers, and troubleshoot technical issues. For this position, a Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or a related field is often required. Proficiency in computer systems and banking software is also necessary. Some employers may prefer candidates with a Certified Electronic Banking Specialist (CEBS) certification. Knowledge of banking regulations and laws, data analysis skills, and strong problem-solving abilities are also essential. Prior to becoming an Electronic Banking Specialist, a person might have roles such as a Bank Teller, Customer Service Representative, or Electronic Banking Coordinator.
