Financial Analyst

Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, contractors, and service providers. Review contracts for utilities, recurring services, and maintenance agreements. Maintain a vendor database and track payment schedules. Communicate with vendors about payment discrepancies or delays. Record vendor-related expenses in the ERP/accounting system. Support onboarding of new residents/customers in ERP and billing systems. Invoice monthly or recurring payments and record payments received via checks, ACH, or other methods. Assist the accounting team in posting payments into the ERP system. Prepare preliminary reports and assist with follow-up communication under CFO guidance. Help prepare accounts receivable aging reports for management review. Create weekly cash flow statements and forecast short-term liquidity needs. Monitor cash flows including rent collections, vendor payments, payroll, insurance, and taxes. Align payment schedules with available cash resources. Manage company credit cards, ensuring responsible usage and reconciliation. Perform periodic bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Assist in preparing monthly financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support year-end closing and work with external accountants or auditors. Help prepare state and federal tax documentation and maintain secure financial records. Assist the CFO in preparing annual and monthly budgets by analyzing financial data. Track variances between actual and budgeted expenditures. Provide financial insights to support decision-making. Develop internal financial monitoring systems to ensure budget discipline. Monitor compliance with insurance policies and coordinate with agencies on billing, claims, and adjustments. Set up and monitor employee health insurance deductions in the payroll system. Liaise with providers to address employee insurance inquiries. Track deadlines and ensure timely payment of property and payroll taxes. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Support development and implementation of financial systems, policies, and procedures. Ensure internal controls are followed to reduce fraud and errors. Recommend improvements to ERP/accounting software and reporting. Provide direct support to the CFO in financial planning, reporting, and strategic decisions. Conduct research and prepare financial data for executive presentations. Collaborate with the CFO on special projects such as banking relationships, refinancing, and capital planning. Oversee updates to the company website, ensuring timely additions and compliance disclosures. Coordinate with IT or vendors for website functionality and security. Develop annual marketing budgets aligned with financial goals. Conduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI evaluations for marketing initiatives. Provide cost-benefit analyses for campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorships. Identify financial risks and opportunities in marketing plans and recommend corrective actions. Track and analyze campaign performance metrics. Create dashboards and reports on marketing profitability. Evaluate customer acquisition vs. retention costs and recommend ROI strategies. Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to support strategy. Partner with marketing to design campaigns aligned with business goals. Coordinate with finance to track marketing expenses, accruals, and payments. Support pricing strategies through financial modeling and market research. Advise leadership on market opportunities, partnerships, and investments. Streamline reporting between finance and marketing.
