A well-established and forward-thinking financial services client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Management Team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a strategic financial executive who thrives in a mission-driven, growth-oriented environment.
About the Role
As CFO, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the financial vision of the organization. You will lead the development of both long- and short-term financial strategies, oversee investment portfolios, and ensure the financial health and regulatory compliance of the institution. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive profitability, manage risk, and provide critical financial insights to support executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage investment portfolios, asset/liability strategies, and profitability initiatives.
Oversee internal and external financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
Lead the Accounting and Finance functions, ensuring efficient processes and accurate reporting.
Build and manage a high-performing leadership team across Finance, Risk, and Operations.
Collaborate closely with leadership to support strategic business decisions.
Lead the organization's Risk Management and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Provide oversight of enterprise-wide financial systems, controls, and vendor relationships.
Must-Have Qualifications
CFA or equivalent certification (e.g., CCE, CCUIP) preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including experience at the Controller or CFO level.
Strong management experience in financial services or a related industry.
Deep knowledge of financial and accounting practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
CPA and/or CMA certification is a plus.
