Investment Banking Vice President - Consumer M&A Locations: Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles We are partnered with a prestigious mid-market investment bank to identify a Vice President to join its Consumer M&A platform. This role is focused on advising middlemarket clients across a broad range of Consumer subsectors and offers strong deal exposure within an active, executiondriven environment. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a Vice President looking to continue building transaction leadership experience at a firm with a strong middlemarket presence and consistent deal flow. The role provides meaningful exposure to senior bankers and clients, with the expectation that the VP plays a key role in daytoday deal execution, process management, and junior banker development. The firm has an established Consumer franchise and a collaborative culture that values handson execution, ownership of workstreams, and longterm career development. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute middlemarket M&A transactions across the Consumer sector Manage deal processes from kickoff through closing, including modeling, diligence, and client deliverables Serve as a primary point of contact for analysts and associates, providing mentorship and oversight Interface directly with clients, legal advisors, and counterparties throughout transaction life cycles Support senior bankers in business development efforts and pitch execution Ideal Candidate Profile 5-8 years of total investment banking experience , currently at the Senior Associate or VP level Background at a reputable middlemarket investment bank or elite boutique , with significant middlemarket M&A exposure Strong transaction execution skill set with experience running daytoday deal processes Consumer M&A experience strongly preferred Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, clientfacing environment Must be based in or willing to relocate to Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles Why Consider This Role Established Consumer platform with consistent deal activity Middlemarket focus offering meaningful responsibility and visibility Supportive team environment with strong execution resources Opportunity for continued growth toward senior leadership All inquiries will be handled confidentially.
