Summary: Provide exceptional service to our customers and prospects, complete customer transactions, grow customer portfolios and strengthen community relations with the banking center. Manage the day-to-day operations and service and sales efforts of the banking center, which offers a full range of banking services to current and potential customers, by performing the following duties personally or through staff members.

Responsible for operations of the banking center including:
- Encourages and complies with CSB's policies and procedures and ensure banking center is operationally sound.
- Understand and have the ability to explain the features and benefits of all banking center products and services.
- Operates banking center within CSB established guidelines for customer service standards.
- Assists banking center personnel in resolving difficult transactions and/or sensitive customer relation problems.
- Conducts monthly audits of CSR drawers and the banking center vault and reports findings to the Security Officer.
- Complete customer transactions and establishing new deposit accounts as outlined in the Retail Services Handbook.
- Assist with opening and closing the banking center.
Support the Banking Center Manager with management of staff including:
- Assist or conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Oversee banking center personnel which include scheduling and approving days off.
- Assist and/or conduct composition and delivery of reviews.
- Distributes disciplinary action as needed.
- Provides mentoring, encouragement, and support to help develop each staff member to their full potential.
Responsible for sales revenue and growth including:
- Support the Banking Center Manager in the achievement of banking center goals.
- Establishes and executes calling program designed to meet or exceed agreed upon growth goals.
- Contacts customers, businesses, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
- Works with existing customers to expand relationships and grow business.
- Encourages and coaches staff to participate in meeting Service and Scorecard goals.
- Provide customer referrals to bank personnel as appropriate. Work closely and collaboratively with CSB business partners including Consumer and Commercial Lenders, Cash Management, and Wealth Management.
- Project a positive image of CSB within the community through involvement in local organizations.
Responsible for all consumer, non-mortgage lending activities.
- Examines, evaluates, and processes consumer loan applications; approves or rejects loans within specified limits, and/or conducts loan closing.
Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. A four-year, business-related degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in retail banking is required.
