Global Treasury supports the digital transformation journey of Microsofts customers, partners, and vendors by providing credit and payment solutions to support revenue growth, while managing credit risk. The Process & Innovation Team (PI) is looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Customer Experience Innovation , who is passionate about improving customer experiences, designing Microsoft strategy about long-term vision with customer billing, and leading changes to policy, process, and technology. In this role, you will work directly with leaders across our upstream teams, such as Sales, Operations, Engineering and Customer Support, in company-wide projects. You will partner with these teams to brainstorm, design and deliver new solutions to support better experiences for Microsofts partners and customers.

Responsibilities

Prioritize

  • Lead cross-company projects to support customer experience and improve order to cash cycle.
  • Thought leadership in driving innovative solutions in the order to cash cycle.
  • Represent the Treasury team as a core team member in cross-functional projects, and influence decision making by leaders to drive optimal customer experiences.
  • Analyze internal or market data to identify opportunities for improvements and drive changes around policy, process or systems as needed.

Partnership

  • Partner closely across Treasury and upstream teams to set up global, scalable, efficient, and compliant processes to support Microsoft customers or partners.
  • Advocate for Microsoft customers and partners to fix root causes of their pain points.
  • Build relationships with upstream teams in Microsoft.
  • Provide recommendations to leaders for process and technology strategy decisions.
  • Project manages key initiatives that touch several teams across Microsoft.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
  • Solid leadership related experience in finance with a relentless drive for delivering impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a simplifier, while working through complex business situations in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience in delivering process improvement and being comfortable with technology solutions to be an effective thought ful leader.
  • Cross-group collaboration skills, including the ability to comfortably communicate and influence management.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to act as an evangelist and catalyst to customer experiences.
  • High-level of integrity, self-confidence, and demonstrated change management; Lead in a diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Motivated learner that can clearly identify and articulate business and customer values through creative solutions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deliverables and tight timelines.
  • Solid project management and communication skills.

#Finance

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600.00 - $188,400.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000.00 - $206,400.00 per year.
