Position Summary The Safe Routes Partnership is looking for a senior leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution someone energized by building systems that support growth, fostering high-performing staff culture, and ensuring that resources are aligned with mission. This is an outstanding opportunity for nonprofit staff looking to marry financial know-how and operational experience with creative problem-solving and implementation. This is a full-time remote position. This position combines hands-on, day-to-day implementation of finance, human resources and technology with big picture analyses and project management. Your role is to ensure the organization's financial and administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently, while also overseeing organizational initiatives to keep them on deadline and on budget. On the finance side, this role is responsible for providing sound financial advice, projections and financial management to steer the organization. As part of the senior leadership team, the right person for this role enjoys proactively identifying an area of improvement, researching and learning, and recommending and implementing creative solutions. What We Are Looking For We are particularly looking for individuals that have: A minimum of six years experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in non-profits. Must be able to implement the day-to-day of financial management while also providing sound financial advice based on projections. A proactive leader with keen analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly gain proficiency with our various technology suites and assess areas for improvement. Some experience with managing human resources preferred. The skill-set necessary to identify areas of improvement or growth, research options, and implement solutions. A high level of attention to detail and project management ability paired with excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
