Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description The Fleet Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting fleet operations through compliance tracking, telematics monitoring, repair coordination, documentation management, and reporting. This position works closely with field personnel, vendors, mechanics, and internal departments to ensure the timely and accurate completion of equipment inspections, repairs, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and comfortable communicating with personnel at all levels of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor equipment telematics systems, review telematics video footage, identify compliance concerns, and communicate findings and corrective actions to field supervision and operational personnel. Maintain and track fleet compliance activities including inspections, certifications, service requests, work orders, repair status, vendor activity, and required documentation while ensuring records and compliance-related documents are accurate, complete, and properly maintained. Coordinate inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment service requests with field personnel, internal departments, mechanic shops, and third-party vendors while providing regular status updates to supervision and operational staff. Compile, analyze, and distribute recurring reports related to telematics, inspections, compliance activities, repairs, service requests, and work order status. Coordinate with vendors to obtain repair invoices, billing corrections, and applicable credits. Assist with onboarding new equipment, equipment disposal processes, implementation of fleet management software, and continuous improvement of fleet compliance processes. Qualifications Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience working with telematics systems, fleet management software, or maintenance tracking systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation. Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills. Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively with field and office personnel. Willingness to analyze data independently and prepare detailed reports. Associate or bachelor's Degree is a plus.
