Overview:

We're seeking a high-performing Private Banker to build, manage, and expand relationships with high-net-worth clients. This role blends relationship management and credit expertise to deliver tailored banking solutions and an exceptional client experience.

As a trusted advisor, you will partner closely with clients to provide thoughtful, strategic guidance-while operating within strong risk, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.

Essential responsibilities of this role include:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex banking and credit need referrals
  • Manage a portfolio of banking clients, delivering customized solutions across deposits, lending, treasury, and wealth in partnership with internal teams
  • Build deep, consultative relationships with clients, families, and external advisors (CPAs, attorneys, investment advisors)
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term relationship profitability

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Partner closely with Trust, Investment Advisory, Commercial/Treasury, and Operations teams
  • Coordinate onboarding, servicing, and ongoing relationship management
  • Act as a trusted internal resource for complex client situations

Credit & Risk Leadership

  • Structure and guide underwriting for consumer and business-purpose lending, including real estate and securities-based solutions
  • Present credit opportunities aligned with policy, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations
  • Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and credit quality

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships through cross-sell and expanded services
  • Develop strategic relationship plans and connect clients to wealth and advisory partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related business/finance field of study
  • Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills
  • Strong understanding of deposit products, lending solutions, and basic investment/wealth concepts
  • Effective and well-developed interpersonal skills to work with a variety of prospects, clients and other team members.
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written, to communicate within the Division and with prospects and clients.
  • Ability to make decision in a timely manner with appropriate support, justification and follow through.
  • Ability to organize workflow and prioritize tasks and projects in a flexible environment.
  • Confident and active networker and relationship builder.
