Description
The Regional Credit Administration Mgr. Sr is responsible for overseeing and managing a staff of Regional Credit Officers, Portfolio Managers and/or Regional Credit Administrators in the credit approval, administration, and review activities for Leveraged Lending exposures enterprise wide.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes, implements and manages administrative and review systems and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the Leveraged Loan portfolio.
- Collaborates with business units on strategy formulation that aligns with Huntington's aggregate moderate-to-low risk appetite.
- Manages credit structuring and deal negotiation strategy discussions with officer/business unit and Capital Markets taking into account both credit and market risks.
- Active participation and engagement in Distribution Risk Committee.
- Analyzes and approves/disapproves credit request exceeding line/regional approval limits.
- Through Regional Credit Officers, identifies potential problem credits and works with loan workout specialists to restructure credits and/or minimize risk for loss.
- Advises staff, officers and/or business units on the company's overall lending policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in credit approval and/or portfolio management leadership
- Prior experience with transactions involving pro-rata and TLB/HY issuance with bank and institutional distribution.
- Bachelor's Degree

Compensation Range:
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
