OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Aviation Client Service Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day-to-day management of an assigned group of aviation accounts within our branch. The Aviation Client Service Manager will report directly to the Branch Client Service Director or Supervisor and will play a key role in achieving business outcomes such as client retention, satisfaction, and enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects.
How you'll make an impact- Successfully and profitably manage an assigned group of aviation accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding CSO revenue benchmark expectations.
- Build and solidify relationships with existing aviation clients by providing exceptional ongoing care and support tailored to the unique needs of the aviation industry.
- Partner with the Production team to take a leadership role in the renewal process, ensuring the delivery of the best possible solutions to aviation clients in a high-quality and timely manner.
- Secure existing aviation business and drive the sale of additional services and lines of coverage specific to aviation risks and exposures.
- Cultivate relationships with buyers in aviation client organizations as well as day-to-day client representatives and buyers, understanding their specific operational and regulatory challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the aviation sector to proactively address client needs and enhance AJG's value proposition.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and conditions that best fit the aviation clients' risk profiles and operational requirements.
- Provide expert advice on aviation insurance products, including hull, liability, and other specialized coverages, ensuring clients have comprehensive protection.
- Contribute to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, achieving operating/margin targets, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement within the aviation sector.
About You
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of client service and/or claims management experience, or High School degree/GED with 8+ years of client service and/or claims management experience.
- Producer's License and appropriate licensing as required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships.
- Solid financial acumen.
- Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortably engages others in consultative discussions.
- Effectively manages and balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
- Works in a self-directed manner.
