Amazon.com is seeking a Finance Manager to support for the Video advertising business as part of the DAV Advertising Finance team. This individual will be finance lead support for Twitch and own defining metrics, forecasting models and lead deep-dives into weekly trends to generate actionable insights for video leadership team. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables while maintaining high standards.

The right individual can dive deep into data to understand and identify business trends, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively and implement process enhancements. The successful candidate will have a proven work ethic and a track record of delivering results.

Key job responsibilities
- Produce, analyze, and improve weekly reporting for the business
- Support annual / quarterly revenue planning processes
- Ensure accuracy and controller-ship of revenue
- Ensure data integrity as owner of multiple datasets by troubleshooting data related issues and implementing mechanisms to proactively detect possible issues
- Identify reporting issues and gaps in processes and then resolve them by partnering with cross-functional teams
- Support the design and implementation of reporting solutions and metrics to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
- Ad hoc analysis including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of the models that help drive the business

A day in the life
This role will support the Audio advertising business and will drive financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis, including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of the models that help drive the business. Given the strategic nature of this business, this is a high visibility role. You will work hand-in-hand with your finance and business partners in advertising to improve reporting, perform impact analyses, and provides insights and recommendations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
