Overview

Provide assistance and account management support for the Employee Benefits Department working closely with Producers or Senior Account Manager in processing all lines of employee benefits insurance in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the Branch.

Position Details:

  • Pay: $60K/yr
  • Hours: M-F 7:30am - 9am start time
  • Location: 21820 Burbank Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA
  • Hybrid Schedule

How you'll make an impact

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Support approximately 40-50 client accounts
  • Provide and maintain service to clients, including claims assistance
  • Support marketing and renewal proposals in a timely manner working with marketing department, Account Executive or Producer
  • Maintain and be responsible for assigned Expiration Log/Renewal List
  • Assist in the reconciliation of client accounts, if necessary
  • Support with new client onboarding including preparation and reviewing of enrollment materials and documents
  • Support Organization of and attend enrollment meetings and health fairs, as needed
  • Input and amend client policy changes, coverage, premium and billing information into carrier portal, agency management system and keep client files current at all times
  • Stay current with new products, systems, and legislative updates
  • Must be available to attend offsite meetings with clients when needed
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers, and vendors
  • Maintain excellent communication, attitude, and rapport internally and externally
  • Maintain behavior that consistently reflects the best interest of the client and team
  • Must have a valid CA drivers license with a good driving record
About You

EXPERIENCE

  • Prefer 2-3 years of experience in Employees Benefits, Healthcare, Human Resources or related field.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish

COMPETENCIES

  • Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint is a Plus.
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and learn new computer software systems.
