Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance & Insurance Manager to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in dealership finance operations, excels in building trust with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the F&I process, from credit review to funding, while presenting and selling finance products that enhance the customer’s ownership experience.
Responsibilities
Manage all vehicle sales contracts, loan documents, and titling paperwork with accuracy and compliance.
Review and analyze credit applications, structure financing terms, and secure approvals from lending partners.
Submit deals for funding and ensure timely payment from banks and finance companies.
Present and sell finance products including service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other protection products.
Maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and manufacturer compliance requirements.
Build rapport and trust with customers to create a positive, transparent buying experience.
Collaborate with the sales team to maximize profitability and ensure smooth deal flow.
Monitor and achieve F&I performance metrics, including product penetration, gross profit, and CSI scores.
Stay current on lender programs, rates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
3+ years of proven success in an automotive dealership F&I role (or related finance management experience).
Strong understanding of lending, credit, and compliance regulations.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and closing skills.
Ability to handle high volume in a fast-paced retail environment.
Proficiency in dealership DMS/CRM systems (CDK experience a plus).
