Small Business Banker Jobs

Telhio Credit Union is located in Columbus, Ohio and is seeking a talented, people oriented and exceptional individual to provide strategic leadership and tactical guidance to the division of Business Lending. This position reports to SVP of Lending and Member Services. Under the direction of the SVP, the Small Business Lender will be required to call on small to medium size business. The individual will solicit term loans and lines of credit relationships with small business members/customers primarily through “cold calling”, branch network, and various other channels. Key responsibilities include selling and closing small business loans and lines of credit. This individual must have the ability to uncover small business needs and match products/services accordingly. The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in finance or related field. Candidate must also have a minimum of five years of experience and a proven track record of success in a small business-lending environment. SBA 7a and 504 knowledge and experience, along with a basic understanding on how to spread financial statements and tax return analysis is required. A strong knowledge of commercial credit parameters is also required. Should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strategic thinking, along with excellent communication and strong member service skills are a must. Must have audit, financial skills, knowledge of and ability to utilize financial software, along with the proven ability to deliver strong service to our members and be able to handle and maintain confidentiality.
