Professional Responsibilities:

Excellent written/oral communication skills, computer proficiency, 3 years experience with a proven track record in the industry

• Lead and motivate a team of experienced mortgage originators
• Develop and execute sales strategies to procure new business opportunities
• Recruit new experienced mortgage originators for the purpose of originating real estate loans from realtors, builders and other direct sources
• Utilize extensive knowledge of residential mortgage guidelines including conventional, ALT A, FHA and VA programs
• Demonstrate skills required to develop sales strategies in order to retain referral sources in the real estate purchase market

Telhio Credit Union is seeking a sales-oriented individual with strong realtor relationships for mortgage loan originations in the Columbus, Ohio area. You will work to expand your own network of relationships while also working with the Credit Union’s members to originate mortgages with new buyers and refinance packages. This position is responsible for originating first mortgage applications and making preliminary loan product recommendations, while establishing the best product for the customer/member. This position also works to maximize Telhio’s visibility within the business community and requires traveling throughout Columbus Ohio and surrounding communities.

Essential Job Functions

• Review delinquent files, and contact customers to collect overdue payments.
• Identify and attempt to resolve reasons for delinquency.
• Communicate basic loan restructuring possibilities to assist customers in resolving delinquency and avoiding foreclosure.
• Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.
