This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance in support of Originations and Corp G&A.Support all aspects of financial planning, performance review and management reporting, including; annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, product profitability, and preparation of executive management presentations. Present business unit financial results and key metrics to senior management in a clear and concise manner, calling attention to material variances to budget/forecast. Develop and maintain financial planning models which incorporate relevant business drivers and accurately project staffing requirements and financial impact to the firm. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on variances, trends, risks and opportunities, key business drivers and sensitivity of operations to current market conditions. Prepare fact-based analysis and management reports which foster a deeper understanding of industry trends and best practices within the organization. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business representatives to ensure the accuracy of financial results. Proactively develop methods and procedures to gather, validate, track and maintain data obtained from departments throughout the organization. Develop processes and procedures to maintain standard reporting and streamline maintenance. RequirementsEducation: To be qualified for this position, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting. MS/MBA degree and/or CPA a plus. Experience: 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience, financial services industry preferred.Specialized Skills & Knowledge: Advanced financial modeling and analysis including; net present value, regression, data mining, and other statistical techniques.Excellent problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills.Strong communications skills (written and oral). Must be highly organized, analytical and disciplined; must have ability to work well with others in a time sensitive environment.Proven ability to meet multiple project deadlines in a dynamic and demanding business environment.Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Access, Word and PowerPoint.
