General outline of the position:
The Chief Credit Officer (CCO) will oversee the planning, organization, and effective directing of all Credit Administration functions of the Bank. This will include loan document preparation booking, post closing documentation follow up, managing the construction draw process and inspection of construction sites. The CCO will also insure that proper systems are in place to maintain document exception and deficiency reports, tickler systems, etc. The CCO will supervise the compliance requirements of the Bank in conjunction with the Bank’s Compliance Officer. The CCO will serve on the Bank’s Executive Committee, ALCO Committee, and will serve as the Chairman of the Board Loan Committee, Bank Loan Committee, and the Bank Asset Quality Committee. Essential day-to-day functions and basic duties:

2. Develops procedures that will insure prompt and professional processing of all requests for loan and lease documents and coordinates loan closings.
3. Supervises quality controls and processes for producing all loan and lease documentation, and maintains contractual arrangements for all documentation systems.

7. Conducts timely performance appraisals, and formulates and implements any corrective actions as needed.
8. Directly responsible for maintaining the bank loan policies and procedures, and updates policies and procedures as often as necessary in accordance with Bank and industry trends, evolving regulations and legal requirements. Follows for approval by the Board of Directors.
9. Oversees contractual arrangements with appraisers, reviews and maintains appraiser files, and follows for annual approval of Bank appraisers by the Board of Directors.
10. Responsible for supervising all “In-House” Evaluations done with Bank and regulatory limits and procedures.
11. Supervises the construction draw processes and procedures, staffing and conducts periodic audits to insure procedures are being followed.
