Summary: Supports the Bank’s mission to be the best bank in the markets we serve through effective leadership and community involvement. Candidate is responsible for financial and treasury functions and requisite reporting requirements including but not limited to compliance reporting for all regulatory agencies as well as monthly /quarterly/annual financial reporting. This position will also oversee the Human Resource area of the bank as well as IT functions.
Requirements: Four-year college degree (BA, BS, BBA), CPA preferred. High level of analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage staff as well as communicate with senior management. Must have some exposure to Human Resources legal requirements as well as familiarity with IT systems and software. At least 10 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
Principal Accountabilities:
Oversee all financial functions of the institution.
Oversee all periodic monthly, quarterly and annual financial and regulatory reports including but not limited to monthly reports to the Board of Directors and senior management.
Participate in determining deposit and loan rates.
Provide guidance regarding investment decisions and help set investment policy. Participate with ALCO in guiding the bank’s asset/liability risk management.
Oversee and assist external accountant with tax and audit related issues.
Develop and implement fiscal plans and policies, including but not limited to Asset Liability Management and Liquidity policy.
Assist President and other officers with implementation of Strategic Plans.
Perform duties of Treasurer including supervising purchase and sale of securities; oversee institutions liquidity, borrowing and investment analysis.
Oversee all Human Resource management for the bank. This includes placing and managing all institutions benefits’ programs, 401K plan management, and all other HR related matters on an as needed basis.
Oversee all IT related matters for the institution. This includes but is not limited to risk and vulnerability assessments in addition to daily IT operations.
Assist and coordinate Internal Audit Function
Oversee procurement functions for the institution.
